We shot this some time ago but I wanted to share it with you and it’s back story.

Throughout her shoot Lily (3) kept on picking up her mum’s I-pad. Caroline explained that Lily loved the  machine and that she had her own folders and apps, which she constantly used.

Clearly, this was such a part of Lily’s life that we wanted to involve in her shoot BUT could not use the studio lights – they are so bright that the I-pad would have appeared to be switched off.

So we turned off all lights and, in darkness  asked Lily to stay really, really, still so that we could take an exposure long enough to illuminate her face with the light from the I-pad.

And, Bless Her, she did it!!!
