About Us
The Studio
Based on the Waverton Business Park, about three miles from Chester and within easy access from the surrounding excellent road network, Cavendish Studios is less than a half hour’s drive from Wrexham, Chester, South Wirral, Runcorn and the Cheshire plain. Free parking is right outside and everything is on the ground floor ensuring easy access for everyone. Lots of space means that we can accommodate groups of up to 30 and give younger children the room to express themselves.
For more than 20 years, we have developed a reputation for friendliness and care, never forgetting that our clients deserve the very best that we can produce to treasure for decades to come.
Jonathan turned professional photographer in 1988 after a successful career in banking. After a short spell photographing for one of the principal London Agencies (Samantha Bond) he and his wife, Chris set up Cavendish Studios with a view to bringing the best possible experience in portraiture to their clients.

Sally has been with Cavendish virtually since it opened in 1990 when just 16. At 33, having spent half her lifetime with us, we celebrated by throwing her out of an aeroplane – attached to another skydiver, of course! Sally is an expert photographer and especially good with shy children.

Lou makes sure that all images hit our demanding standards before being framed or finished. All frames are hand-built around the best crop for the images that are to be mounted, so any piece of Cavendish Wall art is genuinely bespoke.
